Do I need experience to come to a class?+
Not at all. Our Beginner Flow class is designed specifically for those new to Reformer Pilates. We recommend starting there — even if you’ve done mat pilates before, the Reformer is a different experience and the fundamentals matter.
What should I wear?+
Comfortable, fitted activewear you can move freely in. Grip socks are required — you can bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio. Avoid overly loose clothing as it can get caught on the machine.
How do I book a class?+
All bookings are made online. Simply choose your class, pick your time, and secure your spot. Classes fill quickly, so we recommend booking a few days in advance. First-timers can also use the contact form to get started.
What is the cancellation policy?+
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows within this window will be charged the full class fee. This helps keep the studio running and allows others on the waitlist to take the spot.
Is Reformer Pilates suitable for injuries?+
Reformer Pilates is widely used in rehabilitation. If you have an existing injury or medical condition, tell us on your waiver and mention it again to your instructor before class. With only five beds, your instructor can adapt the work to you. If you are unsure whether exercise is safe for you, please check with your doctor first.
How is this different from mat pilates or the gym?+
The Reformer machine provides spring-based resistance, allowing for a much wider range of exercises than mat pilates. You’ll work muscles you didn’t know existed. Unlike a gym, there’s no heavy lifting — just intelligent, controlled movement that builds real functional strength.
Is it worth the price?+
Five beds means your instructor can see every one of us and correct you by name. A class packed with fifteen cannot do that at any price. On a ten-class pack it works out at £20 a session, with the ring, weights and soft ball already on your bed.
